THE LATEST ARTIST SUBMISSIONS AND CALLS

The Spa at Hilton Suites and Club Markham are pleased to announce our first art exhibition. Located in the Hilton Suites Toronto/Markham Convention Centre & Spa, we are looking for 2-dimensional artwork to display in the common areas of our Spa (http://www.spaathiltonsuites.com/) and Health Club (http://www.clubmarkham.ca/).

Please submit your artist statement, CV, and digital images of artwork in JPG files to gallery@markhamsuites.com

For each submitted artwork, please also include the title, date, size, medium and suggested retail price. All artwork must be available for consignment from the artist on a 50-50 basis. Though we are non-exclusive we ask that pricing for work is consistent with your pricing outside of our gallery. Artists must be able to deliver and pick up artwork to our location, 8500 Warden Avenue, Markham, ON.

Submission Deadline: May 31, 2012
A jury of Hilton Suites staff will make their selections from among the submissions and contact selected artists.

Markham48 Studio Tour & Sale
We are accepting applications from artists for the 9th Annual Markham48 Studio Tour & Sale.  Located in Markham along Highway 48/Main Street Markham from 14th Avenue on the south side to Elgin Mills on the north. Event runs from October 20 to October 21, 2012.

We present a wide range of styles and media to the public, from pottery, to bead work, stained glass & fused glass to wood work, painting and photography, and more.

Call to artists

We are bringing the “songwriters music festival ” and it’s programs to Markham.  We have a “fusion ” program where an abstract artist interprets the songwriters words and music , live.

we have the artwork projected onto a screen for an audience to enjoy.
